Malkhaz Nakashidze, within the framework of the European Union Jean Monnet grant, founded an annual summer school in Batumi, in which students from different universities of Georgia participate. Jean Monnet Summer School  is organized since 2020 in Batumi, Georgia at the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.

In 2023, Malkhaz Nakashidze obtained a new project from the European Union and founded the Jean Monnet Winter School in Batumi. Jean Monnet School are designed to promote excellence in teaching and research in the field of European Union studies.
